Dilation & Curettage (D&C)
Dilation & Curettage (D&C) is mainly a diagnostic procedure, which is used to help determine the cause of heavy bleeding. Although D&C requires minimal recovery time, the reduction in bleeding is only temporary1.
D&C is not widely considered a viable therapeutic option for abnormal menstrual bleeding.
