NovaSure on "The Doctors"
On the hit TV show "The Doctors", 39-year-old Leslie, a mother of two, lets the cameras follow her as she has the NovaSure® Endometrial Ablation procedure. Tired of the lifestyle disruption caused by her heavy periods, Leslie meets with Gynecologist/Obstetrician Dr. Ralph Mayer from the Rodeo Drive Women’s Health Center in Beverly Hills, California. Dr. Mayer goes over the NovaSure® procedure and Leslie, who is done with childbearing and ready to get her life back, chooses NovaSure to treat her heavy menstrual bleeding.Although NovaSure can be performed in the office, the clip shown in this episode of Dr. Mayer performing Leslie’s procedure was filmed in the OR. "The procedure was so easy," Leslie tells The Doctors. "I had no pain and that same night I was out to dinner with friends and back to my normal lifestyle, running around and taking my kids to their activities the next day."
